NCAA discussing possible disqualification for South Carolina
Men’s Curling team broke the “gentleman’s agreement”

There is an on going investigation being conducted by the NCAA to see if there are any rules broken by the Men’s curling team. They just completed the SEC tournament, where they were victorious in a controversial championship game. An appeal has been initiated by the University of Kentucky stating the University of South Carolina had an advantage in the championship game by using banned brooms.

The players and coaches have been informed to not communicate with the media and to fully cooperate with league officials during this investigation.

At this point in time we are not able to comment on this investigation as it is on going. When the NCAA has come to a conclusion we will issue another press release stating when our press conference will take place
